البنت: أكبر الحيوان الوطني المطواع

عندما تنفّست لأول مرّة،

خبّرت أبي

استثمر في البنك وهي بنت.

وعندما أنا بنت الخامسة قلتني

أبقي على القرائة والكتابة

والرجل يأتي إليك.

وعند العشرة حدّثتني

مكاث في البيت، تجرّبي على الطبخ والتنظيف

وكوني صامتة ومطاوعة................
